Meal Plans

Meal Plans (also called Ingredients) are the formulas or recipes used in counter sales. Each meal plan lists the ingredients needed and their quantities.

What is a Meal Plan?

A Meal Plan represents one item you serve at the counter — for example:

  • "Protein Shake" → 2 scoops whey protein, 200ml milk, 1 banana
  • "Mass Gainer Shake" → 3 scoops mass gainer, 300ml milk
  • "Pre-Workout Mix" → 1 scoop pre-workout, 250ml water

When a counter sale uses a meal plan, the listed quantities are automatically deducted from stock.

Creating a Meal Plan

  1. Go to Counter Sales → Meal Plans (or Ingredients in the sidebar)
  2. Click New Meal Plan
  3. Enter the Meal Plan Name (e.g. "Protein Shake")
  4. Set the selling price
  5. Click Add Item to add each ingredient:
    • Select the product (must exist in your Products catalogue)
    • Enter the quantity used per serving
  6. Repeat for all ingredients
  7. Click Save

Editing a Meal Plan

Click the meal plan name → click Edit. Changes apply to future counter sales only — past sales are not affected.

Deleting a Meal Plan

Meal plans with existing sales history cannot be deleted. Simply stop using them for new sales if they're no longer needed.

warning

All ingredients listed in a meal plan must exist as products in your Products catalogue. If a product is not in the catalogue, it won't appear in the ingredient selector.

tip

Keep meal plan names short and descriptive — they appear on the prep queue display your counter staff sees.
